Polychrome urn of Saint Ermengol
This piece was designed to imitate a building with false ashlars. The four sides divided into seven arches are where Gaspar Altisent painted scenes of the life and miracles of Saint Ermengol in 1616. This urn painted by Altisent was not the first one to hold the remains of Saint Ermengol in the cathedral of Urgell, nor would it prove to be the last.
