Sant Miquel
Sant Miquel is a church in the cathedral complex that has been documented since the tenth century dedicated to Saint Peter (hence its former name of Sant Pere). The church’s name changed in 1364, when Sant Miquel parish church was moved to Sant Peter. At first the church was dedicated to both saints, but over the centuries it came to be known only by its dedication to the Archangel, Saint Michael.
In the eleventh century, the church originally had three altars dedicated to three apostles, Saint Paul, Saint Peter and Saint Andrew, while the entrance door was on the north façade, which currently leads to the Cloister.
